Affected Ring or Area: Ring 2 Cleveland to Youngstown Alliance site
Summary of Work to be performed: OARnet optical engineers will be performing 10gigE software upgrades on Ring 2 between Cleveland and Youngstown at the Alliance site. This will involve removing a loop plug and inserting a pair of fiber jumpers from the DCU. There will also be a quick Metro Planner software upload. Risk Assessment: High traffic loss risk (6 to 15 minute outage possible)
